Weekly Rounds-Digest 1

A whole week, I’ve been working on this blog.

Time sure flies by fast, anyways I’m in the middle of setting up my old personal blogs domain as a Q & A type thing. I’ll ramble about that later, when it’s ready for the public. That was my personal blog but when my hosting got suspended I lost all my entries.

That makes for a very sad Emma since I had written posts about my miscarriage and other stuff that you don’t really want to go around rewriting about. Perhaps one day when I’ve fully healed I’ll repost about it.

Textures

For my images this week, I used textures from AlaskanIcons on DeviantArt. This person has several quality GIMP textures and I highly recommend AlaskanIcons for any of your texture desires.

Now, since I have just restarted I have not had the time to explore the net for related blogs.

Therefore, I do not have any recommended links for this weeks digest. I plan to scour around for quality YOUTH design blogs. I am thinking of remaining focused on fellow youth in the industry because us young ones gotta stick together.

If you have any suggestions on designers that you think are worthy of a little recognition, even on an obscure blog-feel free to tell me in the comments section.

My Top Three Creations This Week

These are the top three (in my own opinion, within my own work)things that I created over the past week. Credits for textures, brushes and imagery are on the Credits page.

The Nicki and Drake one was supposed to be animated, but something weird happened when WordPress uploaded it. I still think it looks decent with just a texture overlay. My Eminem one came out animated so I dont know what the deal with the Nicki one was.
